Hearing Concern Scotland
Losing some or all of your hearing in adult life can be a frightening experience; struggling to follow everyday conversations, diffi culty using the phone, avoiding socialising and becoming isolated, losing your self-confi dence. It‘s hard to cope when communication becomes a daily battle.
With the right support for you & your family it is possible to live a full life with a hearing loss - Hearing Concern LINK exists to provide that support. We have a team of trained volunteers who can talk to you from personal experience and can support you to get appropriate help. We offer specialist courses (many free) that can teach you how to live with a hearing loss; these are suitable for you and your family members. We also have volunteering opportunities available, with training provided.
As a small charity we are dependent upon donations and we would be grateful for your support. If you want to help us to continue our work by making a donation please donate in person, by post or through our website. Alternatively, why not organise a fundraising event to support people with hearing loss?
'The lights are back on in my life. I have hope and support from a really professional,
caring organisation who know just what it’s like. I have confidence to mix again all because Hearing Concern LINK showed me the way.’
